Graduation & BFA Show

So yes it is true...I have not blogged in over a month! AH! I will be honest however, it was a nice little break, but I'm ready to join the blogging world again. I have MUCH to catch up on, hopefully I can remember it all, without overloading you all with pictures and wordage. This week will be quite the blogging catch up week. So much has happened! First and most importantly I graduated! I graduated with my bachelors with an emphasis in graphic design. yay! This pat on the back from Cade was very well deserved, if I do say so myself!

Not only was I graduating, but my bestie Abby was too!

Preceding, and almost a bigger deal than graduation, was my BFA show! All graduating graphic design seniors presented their portfolios, dressed up and celebrated finally graduating and surviving!

This was my little table space, I shared with 2 other people. I showed my portfolio, a packaging project I'd done, my "steampunk" robot I made (with help from my pappy of course) for a catalogue assignment and a cool old polaroid camera I was gifted (to show my interest in photography as well). My little robot guy held my laser cut business cards that were free for the taking! It made me feel good that my large stack of cards was quite diminished by the end of the night and there were so many nice things said to me and so many good family and friends that came out to support me! It was such a great night!

*side note; that bedazzley, bobbley necklace you see around my neck was an un-posted "project-a-day" project! Maybe I'll show some more detailed pics this week...

So many friends and family came and supported me with graduating and my show, it was great to feel so loved! (not pictured but still loved; all my seeholzer fam, my brother Derek & his gf Tina and of course all my lovely friends that were able to show up, Abby, Stacey, Martha and my Aunt Terri & Uncle John) Thanks everyone!

Of course, as far as catching up goes my graduation was just the beginning. Much more has happened in the meantime, however, I will stop here for today but I'll be working on catching up every day this week so get ready!

  2. Congrats Tosh! I wish I could have been there to check out your awesome display!! I am slightly jealous that pretty much all our friends have graduated and here I sit... nothing to show for my years of college. Hmmph. I should go back to school. On second thought, I think I'll just keep being a mom. :)
