Bobbles & Stripes (un-posted project-a-day)

My project-a-day steam ran out about day 7. Not very impressive, I know this. BUT, I did keep on a project-ing, despite my non-postaging. (all of those words I just used are real, trust me. I am a college graduate) I made this colorful, party-on-a-chain, for my BFA Show and I must say, I am quite proud of myself and think it is quite the cute little creation! I've seen similar necklaces and they are always like 200 dollars or more, so I took myself to the bead store, got a little tutorial on how to do wire wrapping and began the creating! I maybe got carried away with the bobbles, because it is most definitely not the lightest necklace ever...I can't wear it for too long, my neck is not strong enough. I need to start building my neck muscles so I can wear it more :) But I love it anyways! It was so fun picking out each little bobble. It did take me a couple days to finish it, but it was worth it! I definitely saved some cash, although I will admit...it was still about 40 bucks! EEK! Maybe that's not alot, but it was for a special occasion, so maybe it is ok...

I kind of want to make another one! It was a way fun project and I love how it turned out!
