It's crunch time folks! My graduation is just around the corner! Before the celebrating begins however, I must become a zombie and get everything ready for my BFA show! (and finals) This is where this "project a day" plan comes into the picture. My friend Jessica is getting married soon and she is amazingly creative and thrifty and has tons to do for her wedding so she came up with the "project a day" project. She asked for friends to participate in her endeavor and I decided to join in the fun! It came at a good time, because with my tendency to procrastinate it will give me that little extra push that I'll need to finish my semester (and undergrad career) strong! You'd think that getting everything done just to graduate would be motivation enough, but this lil 'project a day' will add some zest to something I already have to do :) So I will attempt to post every day, but just warning you in advance, my project for that particular day could very well be something as simple brushing my teeth! I will try to complete 'actual' projects though. It may be to not just complete a project but could be, do something new, learn something new, do something nice for someone...I'm going to get creative!
I welcome any one out there to join me on this project! Just let me know if you are doing it and I'll link to you on each of my "project" posts!
So to kick start this project series off I learned something that I have always wanted to learn how to do, but for some reason never learned in my youth...a fishtail braid! I think they are so cool looking!
I watched a tutorial and I was good to go! The one I watched was super long and slow, so if you feel like you need extra detailed explaining I'd recommend this one. However this one is a bit quicker and she has a cool accent and calls the braid a 'plait' :)
Wow those braids are sa-weet! I want to learn how to french braid... I assume they are similar?? How exciting that you are graduating in 2 weeks!! Good luck with everything!
