Yeah, my husband rocks!

I haven't updated le blog for a while because I have been so busy! (Well, busy for me) I gave up the full time search for my dream job (temporarily) until I graduate (in 24 days!!!) and grabbed a good ole' serving job to help bring in the cash. Somehow my last semester is busier than my last few semesters and then when you throw in my job I am constantly go, go, go! I have had my new job for about 2 weeks now, so I have adjusted to the schedule change and have discovered I actually do have some free time. But for a while there I was useless around the house and I was shirking on my share of chores :) (C and I divide up house chore stuff so we can get things done) I had so much that I needed to get done and things were piling up. I don't know if any of you have ever served before, but let me tell ya, it can be hard on a body. My feet are always hurting and from carrying all the heavy trays my weak arms are always sore too, so when I'd get done from a day of schooling and work all I want to do is just lay there in a slump.
The other day after a particularly long day I came home to the sweetest most awesome thing...

On conference weekend I went shopping and to dinner with my Seeholzer ladies (my mom-in-law and sis-in-laws). On this fabulous shopping adventure, my M-I-L Carolyn was nice enough to give us some spending money! WOOT WOOT! With my money, I bought the above pictured planter and beautiful ranunculus! But because of my busy-ness/laziness when I was home I hadn't yet planted them and it had been a couple days. So while I was at work C had planted them and wrote a cute lil note to go along with it!

He had strategically placed the notes along my "coming home" path... (kitchen, hallway, front room, bedroom) which pretty much is the only pathway you can take in our house as you come in...it's a pretty small place. But if you couldn't guess, my house chore that I hadn't been able to get to in a while was our kitty's litter. C absolutely hates cleaning it ( so do i, for that matter, how could you like it?) but what had he done...that's right, he had cleaned it for me! The funny thing about his notes was that he would apply them to the chore or service he had done for me! Which made things entertaining...

I love nothing more than coming home after a long day than chillin on the couch in some "comfies" with my laptop, a good snack and something good on the tele! (usually HGTV or the food channel) Another one of my favorites are Cade's famous back massages. Love. Them. So he had everything set out for me and he did in fact give me a nice foot massage :) He's the best.

Last but not least, posted on the door headed into our bedroom was this note. He seriously made my night...my month really. Cade is so awesome, I'm so luck to have him!
